Continuing with the coastal Mediterranean theme of this house, is the grandchildren’s playroom that I converted from a guest bedroom. Their bedroom is next door, so this is a convenient choice for the space.
The cohesive coastal theme was created using colors of soft aqua, ivory, driftwood, and blue-greens, including ocean accessories, ie fish rug. All of the cushions and pillows were custom and are finished with a 1” French flange.
To finish, we installed a beautiful stained cedar wainscot around the entire room, as well as shutters. So cute and inviting, with plenty of room for the family to hang out!
